Report: Crawley Town 1 Town 1

Swindon Town were in action at Crawley Town on Friday evening in the FA Cup second round. Here are the key moments from the game. The hosts draw level with Matt Tubbs latching onto a ball through from Torres before curling the ball into the far corner with the outside of his right boot after getting in between Rose and Morrison. 73 - Midfielder Ryan Neilson escapes a booking after Matt Ritchie is felled by a knee to the back from the Crawley man. 71 - SUBSTITUTION - Vincent Pericard is replaced by Thomas Dossevi in the frontline for the visitors. 69 - Crawley substitute Ben Smith has an opening but his shot from just inside the box is gathered by Smith in the Swindon goal. 65 - GOAL! From the resulting corner a Morrison header is cleared off the line with the ball falling to Austin who finishes well into the corner of the net from 12 yards. 64 - A half chance for Pericard who brings down a ball into the box from Ritchie, although the ball is put behind for a corner. From the corner chances fall for Cuthbert and Ritchie. 60 - The Robins are getting back into the game having endured a period of pressure from the hosts. Prutton and McGovern are enjoying more of the ball now. 53 - Matt Ritchie is penalised for a foul on the half-way line with the resulting free-kick headed over his own bar by Austin before the corner is cleared. 8.46pm - The second half gets started with Crawley making a lively opening to the secon period. 8.31pm - The half-time whistle blows with the scores level at the break. 45 - A free-kick into the box from Michael Rose is met by Sean Morrison who sees his header well saved low by Kuipers. 42 - A left footed cross from McGovern is met by Austin who sees his close range effort parried away by Kuipers with the resulting corner hammered over by Cuthbert. 35 - More good play from Pericard sees the big striker knock the ball down for strike partner Austin, who fires over from just outside of the box. 26 - An instinctive strike from Matt Ritchie from distance sees the ball cannon off the post and back off Kuipers' shoulder and behind for a corner - although a goal-kick is the award much to the displeasure of Town boss Danny Wilson. 21 - A good interchange of passes between Rose and Timlin sees the midfielder come away with the ball before firing a low left footed effort harmlessly wide from 25 yards. 17 - Excellent pressure from Austin forces Kuipers to clear into touch after receiving a backpass, with the resulting cross claimed by the big Dutchman. 15 - The best opening of the game so far falls to Austin. A cross from Ritchie is not cleared by Mills and finds Austin on the edge of the box, who powers a right-footed shot narrowly over. 13 - A long ball forward is gathered by Austin, with the ball laid back to Rose but his deep cross is gathered by Kuipers. 9 - It has been a frantic start with both sides trying to stamp their authority on the game. 2 - Phil Smith gets his first touch of the game, coming out to claim a cross from the right with the Robins looking to settle into the encounter. 7.45pm - The match kicks-off. There is an early chance for Matt Ritchie who almost capitalises on a poor clearance from Kuipers, but sees his shot saved. 7.35pm - The teams prepare to emerge for kick-off in icy cold conditions at The Broadfield Stadium. Goalkeeper Phil Smith will hope to impress on his 100th appearance against his former employers. 7.20pm - Crawley Town boss Steve Evans is hoping for tonight's tie to be settled this evening one way or another. "We want to deal with this game tonight because we don't want to go to Swindon for a replay." 7.10pm - The home side include former Salisbury City striker Matt Tubbs and former York frontman Richard Brodie in their frontline. Former Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Michel Kuipers is named in between the sticks with another player with Football League experience, Sergio Torres, in the midfield. 7pm - Swindon Town have made three changes to the side for this evening's FA Cup tie at Crawley Town. Paul Caddis comes in at right-back with Scott Cuthbert, who will captain the side, moving into centre-back. Elsewhere Jon-Paul McGovern is handed a start with Jonathan Douglas ruled out through injury. The third change will see Vincent Pericard start in the frontline in place of Thomas Dossevi who is included on the bench.
