Barry - We Need To Move On To Walsall Now

15 April 2017

Brad Barry could not hide his frustration at Town’s 0-0 draw with AFC Wimbledon on Good Friday but he’s now fully focused on getting all three points away at Walsall on Easter Monday.

The Reds could not find a way past a stubborn Dons team at The County Ground and were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.

Town now face a massive trip to Walsall on Monday and Barry wants to put the disappointment of Friday's result behind him as he plots to help his side pick up what would be a huge three points at The Bescot Stadium.

“It was a disappointing one. It was a point at the end of the day, we didn’t lose but we should have taken all three,” he said.

“We had so many opportunities and it is just frustrating.

“We did everything right, we got into the right positions but when that cross comes in we just need a touch on it and it goes in.

in the table then they would go in, but when you are down the bottom it is just hard work.th or 15th“If we were 14

“This formation is working for us and we’ve been solid. We’ve conceded one goal in four games but we need to try and find the goals we need to get the three points.

“It was a solid performance on Friday but we just need to put the ball in the back of the net now - that’s the main thing for us.

“I’m sure we will.

“It does feel like a missed opportunity but we’re not going to let it get to us. We’ve got another game very, very shortly so we’re going to put it to one side now and make sure that we get all three points on Monday.”
