BOO - No Reason Why We Can't Upset The Form Book Against Blades

9 December 2016

Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill has fond memories of Bramall Lane and is confident Town have what it takes to upset the form book against Sheffield United on Saturday (3pm Kick-Off).

The defender scored his first-ever goal in professional football last season to help rescue a point for the Reds away at the Blades in January 2016.

It is a fond memory that still brings a smile to his face and Ormonde-Ottewill sees no reason why Town can’t go one better and leave Bramall Lane with three points tomorrow.

“It was one of the best experiences of my career. It was my first professional goal and I just remember the ball being played out wide, me cutting in and pretending that I was going to cross it first time and then slotting it home with my right foot,” he said.

“It wasn’t the best of contacts but it did enough to get a point.

“The atmosphere at Bramall Lane was unbelievable last season and I’m really looking forward to tomorrow.

“Billy Sharp scored a penalty against us last season and he was quite a handful, so we know it is going to be a hard task.

“Our last league result against Bradford was obviously a confidence booster so I don’t see why we can’t go to Bramall Lane and get all three points.”
