Darnell Furlong sees today’s game against Charlton Athletic at The County Ground live on Sky Sports (12pm Kick-Off) as a real opportunity to kick-start Town’s season.
“The TV just makes it a little bit more special but we’re just going to go about the game in the same way,” he told swindontownfc.co.uk.
“The points will be really important to us so we want to put on a really good performance and get the win.
“The league has been a bit up and down and there are teams at the top who you maybe wouldn’t expect to be there, and teams like us down at the bottom that you definitely didn’t think would be there.
“It is important we put that right. We are going to have to stop them and they are going to have to stop us – hopefully it will be us.
“I’ve heard a few of the boys speak about Nicky Ajose but it is just going to be about focusing on the game and focusing on what we do because if we do what we know we can and do it right, then we’ll win.
“It is a big occasion with the TV and a lot of people will be watching but hopefully it will be a start for us.”
