Ince Excited To Get Going With Town

31 January 2017

Rohan Ince revealed that it was an easy decision to join Town and he now can’t wait to get started with his new club.

The midfielder became the Reds’ second signing of Transfer Deadline Day, joining Nicky Ajose at SN1 after joining on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion until the end of the season.

In what is his first interview since putting pen to paper on a deal with Town, Ince revealed that the chance to work with Head Coach Luke Williams again played a major role in his decision to make the switch to Wiltshire.

“I’m very excited,” he told swindontownfc.co.uk exclusively.

“I’ve worked with Luke Williams in the past at Brighton and we had a good relationship, so I’m glad to be working with him again.

“I’m just very excited to get started.

“It was a very easy decision to join the club because I’ve had a very good relationship with Luke and I always wanted to work with him again, so when the opportunity arose it wasn’t a difficult decision to come here.

“I hope to bring a work ethic and a physical presence to the midfield at Swindon.

“I want to help the team avoid relegation and help them win as many games as possible.

“I’m very excited for this weekend, it is a massive game against Oxford and I like playing in big games. It will be a good one.”

Ince scored a stunning effort against Town in the Second Round of the League Cup back in 2014, a goal the midfielder remembers fondly.

“I haven’t forgotten it at all and it was a great strike. It was a shame it was against Swindon and Luke but I can’t really complain about the goal,” he concluded.

KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR MORE REACTION TO ROHAN INCE’S ARRIVAL AT SN1 ON THURSDAY.
