INJURY UPDATE: Town Nearing Clean Bill Of Health

23 February 2017

Town are edging ever nearer to a clean bill of health with Ellis Iandolo getting closer to a return to first-team action ahead of this weekend’s trip to Coventry City in the Sky Bet League One.

With Jon Obika, Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill and Brad Barry having made their comebacks in recent weeks, the Reds now have plenty of options at their disposal heading into the final thirteen games of the season.

And Iandolo is now also ready to feature again having resumed full training in the last couple of weeks.

“Everybody is fit and there hasn’t been anything fresh since we last spoke,” Head Coach Luke Williams said at his pre-match press conference earlier today.

“Ellis has been on the pitch training fully so we feel like we are in the home stretch with him.”

Meanwhile, Williams also provided an update on the current situation regarding Jermaine Hylton.

“There is an ongoing enquiry into exactly what happened and what the best course of action is,” he added.

“I’m kind of leaving the football club to deal with the situation and I will support whatever decision they make.

“It is just about making sure it is done correctly and that nothing is rushed and nobody makes the wrong decision that could be costly.

“It is more about doing things thoroughly.

“It is unlikely that he’ll be involved this weekend because he didn’t train again today but many things are possible in football.”
