Speaking to swindontownfc.co.uk, the defender added that after a positive start to pre-season training, he was looking forward to next week's tour to Ireland.
"The boys are looking forward to getting out there again, getting on the ball and playing a game," he said. "We've enjoyed training over the past couple of weeks and everyone is buzzing to get back out there.
"It's been really positive. Everyone has been buzzing in training. It's been hard and tough but we've loved it.
"It will be nice to get away (to Ireland). A bit of team bonding, some training and a couple of games - it should be good."
