Town midfielder Yaser Kasim gave his views on a number of topics ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Oldham Athletic…
ON TUESDAY’S DEFEAT TO BRISTOL ROVERS:
“Performance wise I thought we started really, really well. We played against a pressing midfield and we did really well, but unfortunately we stepped back a little bit after we got the goal and we didn’t go on as we started.
“They had a game plan, they made it into a fight and it wasn’t exactly tactical football – it was a lot of kicking and running and they got the two goals.
“We started well, we had a game plan and we went for it and you could see the boys put a shift in during the first-half. It was a very good start but it was unfortunate that we stepped back a bit.”
ON THE SEASON SO FAR:
“If we get together a little bit more and really, really focus on getting our intensity every single minute and every single training session and every single game, then we can come back from this stronger.”
ON TRAINING AT HIGHWORTH:
“It is very, very nice and when we stepped in there earlier we were all saying how nice it was.
“The area is beautiful and it is nice just having your own little bit away from everything so you can get down to work.”
