Jon Obika knows Town have to do their best to bounce back and return to winning ways against Shrewsbury Town today (3pm Kick-Off).
“It is very important that we bounce back,” he told swindontownfc.co.uk.
“I feel that we will show the character of the team. Luke (Williams) and Ross (Embleton) believe in us and we need to show that faith and repay that faith.
“The boys are focused in training, we work hard and we try and rectify our mistakes. Our mentality will show a lot in the next game and the boys are ready.
“Shrewsbury are well-drilled, they will work hard but us playing the way we play will make space for us to exploit and we just have to punish them.
“I’ve played with Adam El-Abd and he’s a great guy. He’s very strong, solid so he’ll be a very good test.
“I’m looking forward to it.”
Having helped himself to two goals so far this season, Obika is out to add to his tally later today.
“I feel I need to get into my rhythm and the goals will definitely help,” he added.
“The more game time I get I always feel I’m improving, so I’m looking forward to Saturday’s game.”
