Town Bring In Ince On Loan Until End Of The Season

31 January 2017

Swindon Town have made their second signing of Transfer Deadline Day with the addition of Rohan Ince.

The midfielder joins the Reds on loan until the end of the season from Championship outfit Brighton & Hove Albion, subject to EFL approval.

Ince will add plenty of strength to the engine room at SN1 and is a proven performer in the Sky Bet Championship.

Born in London, the 24-year-old began his career with Premier League leaders Chelsea and signed his first professional contract in 2010.

A loan spell at Yeovil Town followed before he signed an 18-month contract with Brighton’s Development Squad in 2013.

Ince, who spent a short spell on loan at Fulham last year, has racked up over 50 appearances for the Seagulls and is at his best when playing in a holding midfield role.

The midfielder is well known to Town fans already having scored a sensational goal for Brighton during a League Cup Second Round tie at The County Ground in 2014.

Ince becomes Town’s seventh signing of the January Transfer Window and joins Ben Gladwin, Charlie Colkett, Fankaty Dabo, Islam Feruz, Dion Conroy and Nicky Ajose at SN1.

LOOK OUT FOR PLENTY OF REACTION TO ROHAN INCE’S ARRIVAL AT THE COUNTY GROUND TONIGHT AND ON THURSDAY!
