Town Update On Jamie Sendles-White

19 September 2016

Town can confirm that Jamie Sendles-White has ruptured his ACL and is now facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The defender was stretchered off during the 2-1 defeat to Bury on Saturday following a collision with Tom Pope.

Sendles-White underwent a scan earlier today and it has now been confirmed that he has ruptured his ACL, in addition to damaging other parts of his knee.

The club don’t wish to get into specifics in regards to recovery timeframes, but we wish Jamie all the very best and we know he will return to action stronger than ever.

“I am absolutely gutted for Jamie and, having suffered a similar injury myself, I hope that I can help Jamie through this difficult time and I will do everything I can to support him through his recovery,” Town Head Coach Luke Williams said.

“However, knowing Jamie and his character, I know he will do everything within his powers to come back stronger than ever and we as a coaching staff and as a club will support Jamie during his recovery in any way we can.

“On behalf of everyone at Swindon Town Football Club, we would like to wish Jamie a speedy recovery.”
