VIDEO: Ajose Previews AFC Wimbledon Fixture

14 April 2017

Nicky Ajose is well aware that this Easter Weekend is a massive one for Town and he’s hoping to kick it off with a victory today.

The Reds host AFC Wimbledon at The County Ground later (3pm Kick-Off) before heading to Walsall on Easter Monday.

A win this afternoon could well see Town climb out of the bottom four and Ajose says his side just need to focus on what they do best.

“AFC Wimbledon are a mid-table team but it doesn’t really matter as we played MK Dons last week, they had nothing to play for and they were excellent in parts,” he told Town’s Official YouTube Channel exclusively.

“It is more about us and if we maintain the same level of performances that we have had in the last two or three games and create a few more chances, then hopefully we will get the job done.

“AFC Wimbledon have got some good players but it is more about us. We’ve got two massive games over the Easter period which may well make or break our season.

“We’ve just got to get the first job done today and see how that sets us up.

“All we’re thinking about is three points today and we’ll go into the game knowing that a win could get us out of the bottom four, depending on other results.”
