Town midfielder Conor Thomas is only targeting a victory from Saturday’s crunch game against Shrewsbury Town at SN1.
Swindon welcome the Shrews to The County Ground tomorrow (3pm) and with both teams struggling at the wrong end of the Sky Bet League One table, the midfielder knows only a win will do.
“Every point is important now and if we can turn some of those draws into wins then it will be crucial for us,” he told Swindon Town’s Official YouTube channel.
“We’ve just got to keep plugging away and put things right.
“It is a huge game for us tomorrow and one we’ll be looking to come out with a win – it’s as simple as that.
“We’ve got to focus on ourselves and we’ve got to look to dominate the ball as much as we can and take our chances.
“When we played away at Shrewsbury in October we dominated large parts of the game, especially in the first-half, so we’ll be looking to do the same again and hopefully take our chances and get the win.”
