The programme received the following write up:
'Red & White' has great content complimented by a very inviting look with some notably good design work. The visitors' profile pages are enjoyable just to view, such is the presentation. It concludes with 'programme vault' a two page spread of pages from two past programmes against the opposition, making a very strong start to the issue after the columns for the manager, boardroom and skipper. There is a contribution from the club physio, whilst recent match action is almost entirely visual; result, scorers, date and competition, the only wording aside from the picture captions. Looks good. Selecting a standout feature was tough; it could have been any one of three but especially liked 'Fanatic's Attic', an excellent collectors' column by Dave Willis. There are two separate player interviews to ensure the modern day gets enough focus. Former player Steve White has a column ('The Chalk Board') as does the club press officer at the issue's conclusion. A really good mix of ancient and modern that looks good to boot. An excellent all round programme.
Keep an eye out for the Barnsley edition of R&W, which will be an issue commemorating the re-discovery of the Dubonnet Cup.
