NEW signing Jack Barthram cannot wait to show his attacking qualities after becoming Town’s first summer signing.
The defender has penned a one-year deal with a one-year option in the club’s favour after leaving Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season.
And now he’s secured his future, he is eager to make a start to life in a Swindon shirt.
“The interest has been there since the end of last season, but it’s great to have everything sorted now,” he told STFC Player, the club’s official online TV service.
“I am an attacking right-back but can play left-back too if required, or in a holding midfield role. I’d say I am a good defender but love to get forward when I can.
“Spurs was great for me, but I was there from the age of eight and this is a big move for me and a chance to get first team football.”
