BRANDON Ormonde-Ottewill believes that confidence is key for Town as they look to build on Tuesday’s home win over Walsall.

Swindon travel to Chesterfield tomorrow afternoon in League 1 and the left-back says that the midweek victory will be a great confidence boost ahead of the trip to the Spireites.

“It (Tuesday’s win) shows that we’ve definitely got the players and the squad to get more wins than we should have this season,” he said. “I keep saying it – it’s all down to confidence at the moment. If we can get a couple of wins and go on a run that will be good for us.

“It was a great confidence boost going into Saturday. It was not one of our best performances but it was against a good side and definitely a great three points - we’ll take that. The most important thing is the three points. We have to try and get as many points as we can on the board and build on that confidence going into every game.

“All we can do is build on another win going into Saturday. Hopefully it will be a better performance and, who knows, hopefully we can get another win.”
