Brady: "A Unique Opportunity"

1 December 2015

SEAMUS Brady says that he is excited by the ‘unique opportunity’ of working at Swindon Town after being appointed the club’s new Sporting Director.

Formerly with Tottenham Hotspur as an analyst, Brady has most recently worked alongside former Aston Villa manager, Tim Sherwood at Villa Park.

In his role at the County Ground, he will work with manager, Martin Ling in his day-to-day duties and has also been tasked with overseeing the move to Swindon Town’s new training facility.

A regular visitor to SN1 in the past, Brady admits that he can’t wait to get started.

“It’s great to be here”, he told the official website. “I used to come down here quite a lot when the three lads were on loan from Tottenham a couple of years ago so it’s a place that’s quite familiar to me and I know a lot of the staff here too. I loved coming to the games back then and I have enjoyed my time here so far.

“I’m excited to have been given such a unique opportunity. It’s my job now to help the management do their daily jobs as well as being the chairman’s representative when he can’t be here. I can’t wait to get started.”

Chairman, Lee Power added: “We are delighted to have Seamus on board at Swindon Town. He brings a wealth of experience to this level having worked previously with Spurs and Aston Villa in the Premier League and I’m looking forward to working closely with him on some exciting, up-and-coming projects for the club.

“Seamus will be there to help oversee the football side of the business. This won’t affect the daily running of the club undertaken by Steve Anderson.”
