Collins On The Leveller

13 October 2012

SWINDON Town frontman James Collins came off the bench to help the Robins secure a share of the spoils against Coventry City.

Collins netted his second goal in seven days with a powerful second half finish to bring the score back to 2-2 at The County Ground in front of almost 10,000 fans. The striker offered his views to the media after a busy afternoon at The County Ground.

He said: “The change in formation helped us and that was perhaps the changing factor. Gary Roberts is a decent footballer and he found space to help get in behind them.

“Roons managed to get a shot in on goal and it fell straight to me but unfortunately that one wasn’t to be.

“I managed to get good contact on the next one and thankfully it went in. I have been a Coventry fan since I was a boy but it was great to get a goal and help secure a point from the game.”
