“(Doncaster) work extremely hard," he told the media. "The two front players work incredibly hard in terms of closing down and making life difficult. We know it’s going to be a real tough game for us.”
“They were a Championship club last year and they’ve retained quite a few players so they have good quality in the team. They have experience in all areas of the pitch.”
When asked about the visitors' away form, the Town manager replied: “They do well away from home because there’s a lot less pressure on them. I’m sure they’ll come here and fancy their chances.
“Away from home they might sit a bit deeper and invite teams onto them and then counter-attack but it’s like every team on the day: if you’re not at it and they are, you can get beat."
