SWINDON Town are delighted to confirm that Mark Cooper has been named as permanent first team manager.
The 44 year-old has been in temporary charge of the team since the departure of Kevin MacDonald in July and has signed a 2 year deal to take the reins on a full-time basis.
Speaking to swindontownfc.co.uk, the new man in charge was pleased to have landed the role after a stint as Caretaker Manager.
“I’m really pleased with opportunity,” he said. “Obviously it’s an exciting project and I’m delighted to be part of it. I hope to be involved in the long term future of the club.”
An interview with Mark will shortly be available for STFC Player subscribers.
