Swindon Town Football Club has announced that the redundancy process disclosed last Monday has been finalised and a total of four volunteers have taken the option of an enhanced redundancy package.
The affected individuals will be leaving over the next six weeks and the club would like to thank all the staff for the professional way in which this process has been handled.
Steve Murrall, General Manager, commented: “After receiving the voluntary requests we have decided that the reorganisation should take into account the disruption that an extended consultation period would create. Therefore, it was decided that the four volunteers would constitute the complete redundancy requirements.”
He added: “Now we know which personnel will be leaving we will build a structure to maximise the skills and competencies of those still in place.
“We look forward to building a strong, effective team to support the business and I would personally like to thank everyone at the club for their understanding and patience.
“I wish those who will be leaving us the very best in whatever they decide to do in the future.”
