Report: Southampton 3-3 STLFC

14 September 2014

SWINDON Town Ladies dropped their first points of the season when they visited Southampton Saints and were held to a three goals apiece draw in the FA Women’s Premier League Division One South West, writes Roger Reeves.

After a disappointing first half the Town were trailing following two strikes from Saints forward Krystal Whyte at the break. A better second half was soon rewarded when Meg Attenborough and then Beth Thompson put the Town level. Former Town striker Sheridan Palk put the home side ahead but deep into added time Sarah Uzzell secured a point for the Town.

A mixed performance from the Town but nevertheless, an away point.
