SWINDON Town’s home game against Shrewsbury Town is on following at 8am inspection at The County Ground.
Match referee Richard Clark assessed the playing surface and deemed it ‘perfect’ after a huge effort by some 200 volunteers on Friday evening.
Volunteers worked late into the night to remove the snow from the pitch covers, which remained on until Saturday morning.
Manager Paolo Di Canio and his coaching staff joined supporters and office staff to help with the effort – which has now been rewarded with League One action at The County Ground this afternoon.
