Swindon Town

MICHAEL Smith has completed a permanent move to Portsmouth for an undisclosed fee.

The striker has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with last season’s League Two Play-Off semi-finalists having spent time on loan at Fratton Park last term.

Smith joined Town from Charlton Athletic in January 2014 and went on to bag 26 times in all competitions for the club. He netted 15 league goals as Swindon reached the League One Play-Off Final in 2014/15.
