SWINDON Town goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has extended his Town contract by a year.

The popular stopper’s deal was due to run out in the summer of 2014, but the club have moved to extend the deal by a further twelve months.

Foderingham has been a big hit since joining the club in the 2011/12 promotion season on loan from Crystal Palace.

The 22-year old soon established himself as first choice goalkeeper and signed permanently for Swindon in January 2012. He was named in the PFA Team of the Year for League One at the end of last season.

Foderingham was joined by a familiar face at training on Tuesday, with former Fulham teammate Alex Smith joining the club following his release from Craven Cottage.
