That'll teach me.......
There I was in Plymouth preparing for my regular job of presenting the Late Show across the South West, and keeping an ear on events at St. Mary's.
When blow me, news of the Town's win, and two goals in a Swindon shirt for Vincent Pericard, came through.
HOW FRUSTRATING IS THAT?? Especially after the gloomy start to the season.
So the moral of the story is...get to as many of Swindon's games as you can, because you never know what might happen.
It was a fantastic performance though, and great to hear some of the squad's younger players getting in on the act. It must have been fantastic for Will Evans to get a taste of Tuesday's action.
So now we wait for Saturday morning, to find out who Swindon have in the next round of the JPT....and I for one WILL be at that next round!

It was another frustrating day at Stadium MK....
After a pretty drab first half, it was great for Swindon to go in at the break with a lead through Scott Cuthbert's first of the season.
Sadly as we know, more problems at the back allowed the home side to get the three points. However, it was nice to catch up with former Town boss John Gorman just before the game.
John looked great, and obviously enjoyed the day in his role as MK.assistant manager.
I was very impressed by the stadium, not my first visit, but a really comfortable ground for working and watching. The walk round concourse is definately the way forward, and something that's a way of life at American sports grounds.
And so to the North Country....

Yes Carlisle, what is there to say about that journey? It's long...very very long.
I'll be starting near Exeter and travelling the length of the country it seems, but at least it's motorway. Although on a summer Saturday, that's not always a blessing.
You might remember it was a great day last season. A win and Charlie's first goal for the Town after three minutes. That against a backdrop of terrible Cumbrian weather.
I think the weather's going to be better on Saturday, I hope the result is the same with maybe Vincent back with goals to haunt his former club.
So enjoy the trip...in a very odd way, it's one of the best of the season. If you're not going, then BBC Wiltshire has all the action!
Don't forget, keep it loud, keep it proud, keep it SWINDON.
Vic
