STFC Football in the Community Trust are pleased to announce that First Group PLC are the new sponsors of our Tiny Tots and Mini Soccer programme.

Tiny Tots and Mini Soccer is our programme for 3-5 year olds who are taking their first kicks of a football.

The First for Football sessions run throughout the season and concentrate on fun and football skills.

The Swindon Town Tiny Tots and Mini Soccer sponsorship is part of FirstGroup's First For Football programme which involves nine other Football League Club in the South West region.

Swindon Town Football Club Manager Maurice Malpas was delighted with the news, commenting:

"Its great that our Community Department has agreed a sponsorship with FirstGroup and we are extremely pleased to have their support.

"The Community Team does a fantastic job in and around Swindon, with activities such as Tiny Tots and Mini Soccer Schools.

"The club plays a huge role in the local community, and through our schemes, we are enhancing the development of youngsters in the area. With the help of FirstGroup, we are now in a better position to make a real difference."

FirstGroup Chief Executive, Sir Moir Lockhead said, "We feel it extremly worthwhile to support Swindon Town's football initiatives with youngsters from the local community.

"We are extending our First for Football concept across the south west and soon will be announcing more sponsorship packages with clubs in the Football League.

"We are helping thousands of youngsters through football to better understand the importance of fitness, a healthy lifestyle and education."

The sponsorship launch saw several members of the Tiny Tots and Mini Soccer scheme attend a photo shoot, where they had the chance to meet Town midfielder Lilian Nalis.
