The 'Fans of the Future' campaign aims to encourage the next generation of supporters to watch live football at their local League club by providing a range of innovative ticketing initiatives for young supporters. Football League Chairman Lord Mawhinney said: "Supporters are the lifeblood of professional football. By making League matches more accessible to young supporters through 'Fans of the Future' Football League clubs are taking a courageous lead. I am certain that young supporters and their parents will react positively to this initiative and I encourage them to take advantage of it. Having the opportunity to see their local side in action will begin a lifelong football passion for many." Swindon Town would like to offer the opportunity for local youth football teams and schools to enjoy a day out at The County Ground at a discounted rate. In a repeat of last season's offer, STFC will make up to 300 tickets available for selected games, priced at just £1 per child and £10 per adult. For selected league games children under the age of seven, entrance is completely free of charge*. Under 16s can watch Swindon Town FC for as little as £9 each**. For those teenagers (aged 14 or over) who prefer to leave their parents at home, tickets are only £9.
