Lucas admitted he has been attracted back to The County Ground not only by the £229 Season Ticket price, but also the style of football on show at SN1.

"I had one for five or six years in a row, but then lapsed after the club were relegated from the Premier League.

"I came to quite a few games at the end of last season and liked the way the team were playing. That was a factor, but the Season Ticket offer has turned a few heads and it's worth supporting a great idea such as this."

He added: "My best mate is coming along with me and we will be sitting up in The Arkells Stand and are looking forward to the new season."
