Town fan Stephen Plant recently purchased a his first ever Season Ticket for the 2010/2011 season.
Swindontownfc.co.uk caught up with the 57-year-old from Witney, to discuss why he has decided to invest now and never before.
Why have you chosen to buy you first Season Ticket now?
It's something I've been getting around to for a while but I guess I've decided to do it now because the club that many of us have loved for so long is now properly managed off the field, and constructively on the field.
There are so many positives coming out of the club, all the old negativity has gone and when the deal came up I just thought I had to do it.
Was your decision based on the reduced price or the improved running of the club?
Both! The reduced price was an incentive, especially in The Town End - even though I ended up buying a seat in the Don Rogers Stand at the full amount for the bit extra!
Are you trying to convince any other lapsed fans to return?
Yes! I know a few people that go to Oxford and Reading, but they will come and watch us while their other team is on an away fixture.
The football we are playing and the results we are getting are helping in this, and I think once these types of fans are back they will stay.
What would you say to those fans toying with the idea of buying a Season Ticket for next year?
Whatever the outcome at the end of the season, we will be seeing some polished performances in this stadium next year.
The club, the team, and the management are all moving forward in a positive manner, which I believe will become the envy of many.
Money wise I think it is an excellent deal, and if we do go up it will be an outstanding deal. It's a good time to come back into the fold and a good opportunity to show some loyalty to the board, because these guys really do care about this club and they need to know that the public feel the same way.
How big an influence has Danny Wilson been on the transformation of the club?
Massive. It's very apparent that he and the Board are working together very closely. Since masterminding our relegation escape last season, we are now seeing some of the best football here at County Ground since the days of Glenn Hoddle.
He brought in extra backroom staff and coaches, and the players' skills and motivation has just risen week on week. Our team is now a team where all the players look to support each other.
Danny's input on the field goes hand in hand with Andrew Fitton's work off the field - they complement each other and have the same view as to where they want to take this club, which I believe is very far!
