Danny Wilson spoke to the media after watching his Town side's goalless draw with Leyton Orient at The Matchroom Stadium this afternoon.
The manager was satisfied with a point from a tough 90 minutes at The Matchroom Stadium, but was livid his side were not awarded a last minute penalty after what appeared to be a foul on Billy Paynter by Orient's Ben Chorley.
Wilson said: "It's absolutely stonewall penalty. The ref and the linesman were in an excellent position and I can't believe they haven't given it.
"The ref says he gave them the foul because Billy caught their player, which is just ridiculous.
"That's cost us three points today, there's no doubt about that."
That flashpoint aside, Wilson was pleased with his side's performance on boggy surface that had suffered greatly from heavy mid-week rainfall.
"You couldn't play on it at all, it was just so boggy and sandy," he said.
"Both teams wanted to play football, but the pitch dictated the game today.
"We had to bypass the wingers and play a bit longer because if you play tippy tappy stuff on that sort of pitch you'll get punished.

| Wilson on the merits of Town's point |
"You have to be strong and powerful in these conditions, but we dug in, defended brilliantly, and got a big result today, make no mistake."
The manager also singled out Scott Cuthbert for special praise, and was impressed with the way the centre back filled in for the injured Kevin Amankwaah on the right hand side of defence.
He said: "We missed Kevin's surges going forward today, but I thought Scott Cuthbert did well.
"He adapted very well and dealt with Jason Demetriou on the right effectively.
"Thankfully we got through it unscathed today so we won't have anyone playing out of position next week."
Wilson concluded that the point was all the more valuable considering the O's impressive home form so far this season, and expects Geraint Williams' side to continue to pick up points on home turf as the campaign moves into its final stages.
He said: "Orient will beat the big sides down here, and I can see them taking a lot of points off teams.
"It is a decent point because it's a difficult place to come and I hope the pitch can clear up for them because they're a good footballing side.
"And they might do us a few favours here you never know."
