Town defender Kevin Amankwaah is eager to play his part in the derby encounter against Bristol Rovers on Saturday lunchtime, but admits it could be 'touch and go' as to whether he recovers from injury in time.
Amankwaah missed Saturday's League One encounter at Leyton Orient with a hamstring strain sustained in the home clash with Stockport County.
And as he continues his recovery ahead of this weekend's big game, he is eager to feature against Town's local rivals.
"It's touch and go for this weekend, but I really want to be fit for the derby," said the 27-year old.
"The injury is getting better. I feel a lot stronger than at the end of last week but I will keep working hard with the medical staff here.
"I have played against Rovers plenty of times. It is a game we want to win and it could be a vital three points for us."
Amankwaah attended the Carling Cup final between Aston Villa and Manchester United on Sunday afternoon at Wembley, where he saw Sir Alex Ferguson's men retain the League Cup trophy.
"The final was amazing. I am a Manchester United supporter so to see the players playing at the top of their game was fantastic."

He continued: "The atmosphere was brilliant. 90,000 supporters in that sort of arena was quite something.
"I was lucky enough to play at the old Wembley, which was a unique experience.
"If we (Swindon) don't get automatic promotion then making it to Wembley would be something special."
