Danny Wilson spoke to the media shortly after watching his Town side go down 3-0 to Bristol Rovers at The County Ground.
The manager was understandably disappointed to have seen his side's unbeaten home record end in such deflating style.
He said: "I'm as annoyed and disappointed as the fans will be at the moment.
"We had chances early on but they got a goal out of nothing and it obviously didn't really get any better after that.
"It was a funny game because we started brilliantly and had lots and lots of chances but we haven't taken advantage of them."
Wilson went on to highlight what he believed was Town's main stumbling block at The County Ground; lamenting his side's inability to defend many of Rovers' counter-attacks.

He said: "Apart from the excellent free kick for their second goal, we've been a victim of our bad defending today.
"It's important to not get carried away with momentum when you're on top and that's what we did today and ended up leaving players in one and against ones.
"What's concerned me more than anything is our concentration because we fell asleep when they came onto us, and we found out that if we give people that amount of time then we'll get punished."
As it was when Town last played The Pirates in December, Wilson's side went into the break 3-0 down, and the manager admitted that despite a promising start to the second half, his team were fighting an uphill battle in the second 45.
"45 minutes is a long time in football, and I told them to get one goal and see what happens," he said.

"We started the second half brightly as we did the first but again we got done by one sortie into the box.
"We didn't need to be gung ho and we looked like we were stressed every time the ball came forward.
"I don't necessarily blame just the defence it was a poor team effort, because we handed goals away that weren't earned."
However, despite his obvious disappointment, Wilson was keen to take the positives and look forward to this Tuesday's away clash against MK Dons.
He said: "That's only the fifth game we've lost all season and that's not a bad rate.
"We were nowhere near tight enough throughout the game today, but we're still in and around where we want to be so I'm not going to hang anyone out to dry for it.
"We've just got to pick ourselves up, dress ourselves down and go again on Tuesday."
