Danny Wilson will not make any kneejerk reactions to Saturday's 4-0 defeat against Bristol Rovers when he picks his side for this evening's away clash against MK Dons.

The manager was typically measured in his dissection of the weekend's derby disappointment, and insisted he will not make any hasty decisions ahead of the trip to stadiumMK this evening.

"Obviously everyone is disappointed with Saturday but we'll get over it as a group, and the players are very professional so they'll be ready for tonight," he said.

"As I've said before I don't get carried away with wins and I don't get too deflated with defeats.

"There are other teams who have blips just like we do and overreact, which I certainly won't do.

Wilson on how he picks his side

"It wouldn't bother me playing the same team because I've got a lot of trust in these lads to keep doing as well as they've been doing all season."

He added that the selection process for tonight's clash will not be altered in any way simply because of the weekend's result.

"That team doesn't pick itself every week," said Wilson.

"All the players here are fresh and chomping at the bit to play so I always have tough decisions to make on how my team is going to look.

"We still look at the opposition, the way we're playing as a team and as individuals and make the decision from there - and that will be no different tomorrow."
