Danny Wilson was delighted after securing the permanent signature of former Town loanee Alan Sheehan on deadline day.
Despite admitting to having had a number of late knockbacks from some of his targets, the manager was happy to have brought in a player whose quality he is well aware of.
"We needed some cover on the left hand side and thankfully we've got that with Alan," he said.
"The biggest factor with Alan was that we thought he was going back into the Championship, and I think he may have done as well.

"But he's got to come back, roll his sleeves up and get in the team.
"We all know the qualities he's got because he showed them last season, so hopefully we can see them again this year."
And as far as any future transfer dealings are concerned, the manager was confident of adding to his squad when the loan window opens next week.
He said: "We've been disappointed to have had a few on the go that didn't come off, but that's the nature of it - you think you've got the deals done and they walk away.
"But we'll have a look at the loan situation again next week."
