Swindon Town caretaker bosses David Byrne and Ady Williams made changes to his starting line-up to face The Bees in Round Three of the FA Cup at The County Ground.
Blair Sturrock and Billy Paynter came in up front to replace Barry Corr, who starts a three game ban after seeing red against Swansea on Tuesday, and Simon Cox who started the game on the Reading bench at Spurs.
Town began with an early threat. A Miguel Comminges throw found Billy Paynter, but his header fell straight into the hands of Rob Beckwith in the Barnet goal.
As the game went on, Barnet created chances of their own, and won a corner after 13 minutes of play. Former Town man Nicky Nicolau's left-foot shot was turned round the post by Brezovan who did well in poor conditions. The in-swinging corner was dealt with conformably by the Swindon defence however.
The game failed to gain any momentum in either direction, and both teams continued to look for some. On 23 minutes Jason Puncheon picked up the ball on the edge of the Swindon area, and unleashed a fierce shot which was inches wide of Brezovan's left post.
Soon after, Jon-Paul McGovern was on the end of a fantastic Billy Paynter cross, but the ball seemed to get tangled between his feet, and the Town midfielder was unable to capitalise. Moments later Swindon nearly did get the opener. Sofiene Zaboub had a clear shot on goal, and his left foot strike had to be well saved by Beckwith.

Further chances came before the break with Paynter just unable to turn a cross from the left in when well-placed. Unfortunately his header flew narrowly wide.
Aljofree could have opened the scoring in the one added minute of first half time. A free-kick from the left was met by the unmarked Town skipper and at the back post; Aljofree's header went wide from close range.
Half Time: Swindon Town 0-0 Barnet
Swindon opened the second half with a strong attack, leading to two shots being cleared off the line. The melee in the box came after the visitors did not clear, and both Paynter's and Sturrock's shots from 6 yards out were scrambled away.
Just before the hour, Barnet should have taken the lead. Jason Puncheon made space for himself on the edge of the Town area after Ifil was caught out of position. He turned the Swindon defence, and with a clear sight on goal hit his shot wide of the post.
But then the breakthrough. Miguel Comminges crossed the ball from the right into the visitor's box, and with the Barnet defence not clearing their lines, Blair Sturrock was on hand to head home from close range for his fourth of the campaign.
The first substitutions of the day were made by Barnet on 68 minutes with Ashley Carew and new signing Akurang making way for Anthony Thomas and Adam Birchall - who was to have a major impact. Birchall netted the equaliser as well as seeing two efforts ruled out.
As Swindon pushed for a second, Blair Sturrock made way for returning emergency striker Christian Roberts on 74 minutes. Seven minutes later, Sofiene Zaaboub was replaced by Kaid Mohamed and the substitution almost paid off for Town.
But Barnet were not finished, and six minutes from time, Adam Birchall picked the ball up on the edge of the box before bending a right foot shot past Brezovan into the top left corner of the net to send the visiting Barnet fans into celebration.
Jerel Ifil was booked three minutes from full-time for kicking the ball away. From that stoppage, Swindon pushed for a winner with Kaid Mohamed going close at the death. The winger picked up a throw from Brezovan and strode into the Barnet half, riding three challenges before firing agonisingly over from the edge of the box.
Captain Hasney Aljofree was then also booked for a late challenge. The tie will go to a replay at Underhill due to be played on Tuesday 15th January 2008 with a 7.45pm Kick-Off at Underhill.
