Swindon Town's 'Swindon' has been shortlisted for Best Matchday Programme at the Football League Awards 2012.
The Robins will come up against five other Football League clubs for the Award, having made the final shortlist following judging by a panel of industry experts.
The club programme, simply named 'Swindon', offers supporters unique player content and behind-the-scenes exclusives as well as extras such as Collect-A-Cards, four perforated player cards covering current and former players. An emphasis on social media means the use of QR codes within the programme helps direct supporters to the club's official Facebook page, where discussions and further content is available.
When assessing the category, judges looked for excellence in design, use of imagery, features, innovation, value for money and overall content in match programmes from the 2011/12 season.
The full shortlist includes:
Brighton & Hove Albion - Seagull
Burnley - Claret & You
Huddersfield Town - Give us an H
Notts County - The Mag
Swindon Town - Swindon
Torquay United - TQ1
John Nagle, Head of Communications at The Football League, said: "For many supporters matchday programmes are an important part of the matchday experience. The standard was extremely high again this year with clubs, both big and small, producing terrific publications - I wish all of the nominees the best of luck on the night."
This year's Football League Awards sees a total of 17 awards with the winners being announced at the gala ceremony at The Brewery, London on Sunday 11 March 2012.
