Swindon Town boss Maurice Malpas offered his views after an FA Cup Third Round replay defeat at Barnet.
The manager was disappointed with his side's performance at Underhill although insisted the focus now is all on Saturday's League One trip to Crewe Alexandra.
"I am disappointed to go out although I don't think we played well enough over the ninety minutes to go through. I think our players were hoping things would happen rather than making them happen, as we did against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
"Tonight we made the wrong decisions at the wrong time and it cost us. Barnet worked hard for their win and all credit to them.
"I was delighted to see Billy Paynter open the scoring for us and he worked hard all night.
"We have lost Sofiene Zaaboub to injury although we don't know how bad that is at the moment, he has gone off to hospital and we will await the news.
He continued: "Saturday has to be at the front of our thoughts now. We can't sit back and wait feel sorry for ourselves. The players have to react to a poor performance and go and take Crewe on now.
"The bonus now is that we have the three new signings available for the weekend. I have every confidence in the squad we have, so they might not come straight into the side because we don't need to make wholesale changes."
