Town defender Hasney Aljofree is expected to return to action in time for the new season after undergoing an operation on an injured wrist.

The former England youth international sustained the injury during the latter stages of the campaign and went under the knife seven days ago to cure the problem.

Aljofree, who made 38 league starts for the club last term, has enjoyed a summer away from football although is looking forward to embarking on the road to fitness ahead of the new season.
