Swindon Town have confirmed the official attendance at Friday's friendly with Portsmouth as 7,548.

It was an impressive turnout for what was the first home friendly ahead of the new 2008/09 League One campaign.

Kevin Amankwaah made his first appearance in front of the home faithful whilst Peter Crouch made his second Portsmouth debut after signing from Liverpool in an £11 million switch.

The Club would like to thank all supporters in attendance on Friday night for their backing.
