FourFourTwo's new sponsorship of Swindon Town began with a bang when the magazine's finest Sunday League footballer accompanied the Robins on their pre-season tour of Austria to see if he could cut it in a professional football environment - on and off the field.

Only League One? Pah! The man in question, Ben Welsh, discovered just how out of his league he was, but he did make quite an impression on Maurice Malpas and his players, one way and another.

During the course of the season, FourFourTwo.com will be covering Swindon Town FC in conjunction with the magazine. Among the online offerings will be exclusive blogs from various people at The County Ground, as well as picture exclusives from behind the scenes as well as welcoming Town fans into our online home via our ever-popular forums.

Nick Watkins, Chief Executive of Swindon Town FC, said: "It was great to see the fans enjoying a free copy of the latest FourFourTwo magazine as well as a very decent Town performance against FA Cup winners Portsmouth.

"With these other initiatives they have come up with, we're looking forward to a successful first season together."
