STURROCK CLEARED TO PLAY

Swindon Town striker Blair Sturrock has been cleared to play for AFC Bournemouth in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The front man joined The Cherries on a one month loan and made his debut off the bench against Darlington on Saturday 27th September.

Sturrock has been given permission by Swindon to play against MK Dons in Tuesday night's cup clash.

Town boss Maurice Malpas offered his views on the news on Monday lunchtime.

"Blair needs games and Bournemouth asked if he could play on Tuesday night," said the manager.

"Bournemouth have given him the platform to go and get regular football and we are more than happy for him to feature."
