HAS JUST GLAD TO BE BACK
After returning with the reserves for a ninety minute workout against Cheltenham, defender Hasney Aljofree was pleased to be back in a Town shirt.
The former Plymouth Argyle centreback has now made 53 first team appearances for Swindon after a move from Home Park in the summer of 2007.
After missing the recent League One games against Hartlepool United and Huddersfield Town, Aljofree was named in the reserve line-up for Tuesday's encounter against Cheltenham Town.
Speaking after the game, the 30-year old was glad to be back in action.
"It was great to get a game under my belt after being out with illness. I went back into training last Thursday and have had a few days training, so was ready for a game," he said.
"The lads did well and it was pleasing to be involved again. It was good to see two sides with experience out there and the game was played at a hundred miles an hour at times.
"Both teams put the work in and it was a competitive game. There was some good football on show and it was a decent evening."
