Swindon Town top scorer Simon Cox believes he has no right to reclaim his place in the side for Tuesday's visit of Peterborough United.
Despite hitting 15 goals so far this term, the former Reading striker is ready to accept a place amongst the substitutes for Tuesday night's test.
"I am itching to play again, that's for sure," he said.
"I am not expecting to start tomorrow though, because the lads up front did so well against Bristol Rovers. If I was the manager I would keep the same side, so I am not taking things for granted.
"Hopefully if I do get back in I can get back on the goal trail and do well for the team."
The visitors have made quite an impression on League One this term and Cox knows what The Robins can expect from Darren Ferguson's men.

"Peterborough have a good side and we know we will be in for a tough game.
"Mackail-Smith has scored a lot of goals this season so hopefully we can keep him quiet.
"They pass the ball well and we know we will have to keep an eye on them."
