Town striker Billy Paynter fired in his sixth goal of the season at Walsall but his speculative late effort was not enough to inspire The Robins to victory.
Paynter offered his views to the media after the game and believed Town were unlucky not to have come away with more to show for the afternoon's work.
"We came here high in confidence with a bit of an unbeaten run. I thought we played well in the first half," he said.
"I had a lot of shots but unfortunately it didn't go our way at the end. Their keeper deserved his man of the match award that's for sure.
"We have worked hard in training and I thought we took that into the game.
"I was pleased to get the goal. It was nice to see it go in because we had been told in training to get our shots off and we certainly did that today.
"We have conceded two goals in consecutive games and we have to improve on that. If we can keep things a little tighter I am sure we will improve.
"I thought we were a little unlucky too, because I wasn't sure whether Coxy's goal was offside."

The striker believes Town have enough quality within the squad to climb the League One table.
"There have been a few draws but we have been undone by spectacular goals.
"Today we couldn't quite push on but we have to start getting more points on the board."
