Posted on: Fri 26 Dec 2008

Town midfielder Lee Peacock has offered his reaction to the news that Danny Wilson has taken over as Manager of Swindon Town FC.

Peacock worked with Wilson for four years at Bristol City and is looking forward to being reunited with his former boss at The County Ground.

Kevin Amankwaah also played under Wilson at Ashton Gate, with Peacock believing Town fans will enjoy life with their new boss.

"It is good to finally get the managerial situation sorted and Danny Wilson is a fantastic appointment," Peacock said.

"When I was with Bristol City the club really progressed and did well in the league and we won the Football League Trophy at Cardiff.

"He was very popular with the supporters and I am sure he will do a good job here at Swindon."

Peacock added: "I am really looking forward to working with him again."
