Swindon Town boss Danny Wilson praised his players after seeing The Robins secure a first three points at The County Ground since October.
The victory was also Wilson's first win as Swindon Manager and he reiterated his desire to chalk up 'three quick wins' after seeing The Robins hit three goals against Chris Hutchings' Walsall side.
"I thought that at 3-0 we should have shut the game out," he said.
"The lads deserve a pat on the back for that. The way we want to play it is demanding fitness wise but they tried to put into practice what we had been showing them in training."
Town scored three impressive goals with Kevin Amankwaah, Simon Cox and Billy Paynter netting against The Saddlers.
"The goals we scored were well worked and all credit to them. It was brilliant to see Kevin Amankwaah on the scoresheet, too. He has all the attributes to be an excellent full-back. He played well and capped his performance with a goal."

Cox's goal brought the 6,000 crowd to their feet with the Town striker netting his eighteenth goal of the campaign - one which will live long in the memory.
"That was a class goal from him wasn't it?" Wilson remarked.
"It was a great ball through from Lilian and to score in two touches was fantastic and that's why people will look at Coxy.
"I thought Billy Paynter was excellent tonight. He was a real pain in the backside for the Walsall defence all evening and deserved his goal."
Wilson made five changes to the Swindon line-up with Chris Allen, Gordon Greer, Lilian Nalis, Hal Robson-Kanu and JamieVincent all included.

"Gordon Greer came out and won his headers against two tall strikers. He coped with what Walsall had very well and he brought that calming influence to the backline.
"Jamie Vincent was another example of someone who came in and added to the side. His return to the side was seamless. He put in a very accomplished performance and brought the experience that we needed.
"Chris Allen came in and we had to give it a try. There are still other people at the Club who can get into that side, but we have thrown the marker down to the squad to show what we are about."
