TIMLIN TO MISS CARLISLE CLASH

Posted on: Wed 15 Apr 2009

Swindon Town will be without midfielder Michel Timlin for the next two matches after being handed a suspension.

After collecting his tenth booking of the season at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, the former Fulham man will now miss out on the away trip to Carlisle United and the home clash with Bristol Rovers. Timlin has made 40 league appearances for Danny Wilson's men this term with two goals to his name, which came against Yeovil Town and Scunthorpe United.

This weekend's crunch clash at Brunton Park will see Swindon seeking three points to all but secure League One safety, with a victory taking The Robins onto 51 points for the campaign.

Carlisle will also be missing one of their key men, with experienced middle man Graham Kavanagh also unavailable due to suspension. Carlisle will go into the game three points behind Swindon with the same number of games played.
