Swindon Town goalkeeper Phil Smith is looking forward to the new season after agreeing terms on a one-year contract extension.
The stopper has now made 71 league starts for The Robins after signing from Crawley Town in the summer of 2006 and he is hoping to pass the landmark of a century of appearances in a Town shirt this season.
"The security of another year is good news and I am looking forward to the season ahead," said the 29-year old.
"I had until the middle of June to get things sorted. I have just got married so have been away for a while. Everything went well with regards to that and I am happy here in Swindon.
"It's hard to believe that three years have flown by. Next season should be an exciting one and I am back in training already because I want to be as fit as I can by the time pre-season training officially starts."

Haitian defender Lecsinel Jean-Francois has agreed terms of a one-year contract with the club and will put pen to paper on the deal when he returns from a summer break.
Midfielder Craig Easton has also indicated to the Club that he would like to remain part of the Town's plans next term, and is expected to finalise terms over the coming weeks.
The Club are awaiting a response from Patrick Kanyuka, who was offered a short-term deal to remain at The County Ground.
