STFC Head of Retail Clare Haworth will today close the doors of the STFC Club Shop ahead of the extensive refurbishment programme.

She spoke to the official website about the refit, new products and the final day sale with a rush of fans attending The County Ground early on Friday morning.

Was the final day sale a success?

Everything Lotto branded has now disappeared so the final day sale has been a big success. We had fans queuing up before we opened and it has been pretty busy all day.

How long will the Club Shop be closed for?

The shop will be closed for three weeks from today (Friday) and will reopen on Saturday 25th July when Cardiff City visit The County Ground.

What will the next few weeks hold for you?

It will be a busy time as we will be taking deliveries of the new stock over the next few weeks as well as overseeing the refurbishment programme. Work will also be carried out to the stock room and of course we want the new shop fit to look good.

Can Town fans expect a wider range of products next season?

Definitely. There will be quite a lot of new products and the training wear range will also expanded with adidas now the club's main kit suppliers. There will also be products at the cheaper end which will not be adidas branded.

What has the fans' reaction been so far and how many fans will be in attendance for the Kit Collection Evening on Thursday 23rd July?

We have got a good response from the fans so far, who seem to be pleased that we have gone with adidas as the new kit supplier.

At the moment we have taken just over 300 pre-orders to the Kit Collection Evening should be a busy one. There will also be players coming along on the evening with further news to be released soon about the night itself.
